About Pegasus Creations

Founded in 1998, Pegasus Creations has been developing websites using the latest technologies in HTML design to provide effective user experiences for our clients. We also incorporate integration with search engines and social media outlets to promote our clients in a variety of ways.

Recently, we have been using the new technologies of responsive web design to deliver site content to a variety of internet-connected devices such as smart phones and tablet computers. You can rest assured that your project will be developed to function in today's device-rich internet environment as we are committed to both making our designs beautiful and effective. Pegasus Creations also provides services in graphic design, including logo development, printing, photo retouching, and page layout for newsletters and other printed items. We develop designs both concurrently with web efforts and as stand-alone projects.

With our sister company Longleaf Media, we have also created multimedia productions in a variety of formats, including videos, podcasts, books, and photography. We provide turnkey solutions for clients, giving access to new media outlets for delivering content.

For many years, Pegasus Creations has been involved in ongoing research in genealogy, particularly for the Toe River Valley region of Western North Carolina (in particular, Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey Counties). We provide individuals and families with expert assistance in locating vital records, land transactions, and other documented information for inclusion in genealogical projects. along with the development of documented research publications that highlight family history.

Our Staff

David and Marsha Biddix have been the owners and operators of Pegasus Creations since its beginning. They bring unique abilities to clients through our services.

David Biddix has worked with website design, development, and maintenance for over 20 years. He has served as webmaster for community colleges, county governments, businesses, and non-profits. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Radio/Televison/Motion Pictures from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master's Degree in Public Affairs from Western Carolina University. He is currently pursing a Master's Certificate in New Media and Global Education from Appalachian State University.

Marsha Biddix has been involved with graphic design, photography, research, and genealogy for over 15 years. She has worked with non-profit agencies, and currently serves as a volunteer with Mitchell County Shepherd's Staff, a food and relief agency in Mitchell County, North Carolina. She holds an Associate's Degree from Mayland Community College.
